Please call us with any information Lost Quaker - a Second Found Quaker - and a Found Dusky Headed Conure! - Late July 2006 - Dallas/Ft.Worth Texas area Jennifer sent this in... I lost my Quaker July 22, near the lake, in Arlington Texas. He's very friendly, talks, whistles & laughs a lot!!! I'm offering a huge reward, please help! After placing ads all over, I received a call from someone who found a Quaker on 7/24, in Grand Prairie, TX & thought it was mine. I rushed over there, but it wasn't mine. The people were going to keep him, but later that night called & asked if I'd take him, since I already had the cage & all...I decided to foster him, until his real family can be found & if that's never, well...I will be happy to keep him. So if you've lost a Quaker, possibly around 7/24, in the Grand Prairie or DFW area, please let me know. Also, another found bird has made it's way into my home this week! I responded to an ad that described my bird perfectly, (personality, colors, lost & found date matched, etc...) only this one is a dusky headed conure. (I was so hoping they were wrong & he was a Quaker.) He/she is very tame, talks & whistles. Again, not my bird, but the family that found him had a cat, so I have him now. Super sweet bird, I'd love to keep, but you can definately tell it's someone's very much loved pet & they must miss him as much as I miss my baby! The conure was found July 22 in North Richland Hills, TX. If you have information about my Quaker, or have lost a Quaker or a Dusky Headed Conure in the DFW metroplex area, possibly toward the end of July, please let me know. Thanks!
