Large Green Parrot Sighted - Palos Heights, Illinois - April 30, 2007

On Monday, April 30 2007, I saw a large green bird (parrot sized bird) fly into a large oak tree in front of the Palos Heights (IL) police station. The police station is at Rt 83 (119th Street) - I assume that this was someone's pet bird because he was not a wild bird. If someone lost this bird, I spotted it 2 days ago in the Palos Heights area.

Please help!! Female African Grey got loose and flew in a strong wind near the Little Elm water Treatment plant (east of Lake Dallas) about 5:15 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2007. Last seen struggling into the wind toward the southwest (possibly into Hackberry area?).
She is 8 yo female, has plucked breast, red tail, no band. She says several phrases, "What about the bird?", "Robin", "See ya later," big whistle, etc. She is shy of strangers, but really quite tame. Might answer to `Robin`, her person's name. She has been part of the family for 8 years. REWARD.

Lost African Grey - New Boston, Michigan - Lost Since September 2006
April wrote...
I have lost an African Grey Congo in New Boston, Mi and was wondering if you could keep an ear out for Dusty has been missing since Sept/18/2006, and we miss him so much. We have an emptiness in our hearts, and will not give up on our baby FID.
Update! April found her African Grey!
April updated us...
I want everyone to know Dusty was found in Las Vegas, NV, and is going to be home Monday.
I want everyone to know Don't give up on your Baby FID's they wouldn't give up on you.
This story is being followed by channel 4 news, and they are doing a recap on this Monday (April 30) on his return.
I am putting all names of these web-sites so people will be knowledged on these babies, and the needs of all the rescue people out there for us the ones who have lost our baby Fid's.
Keep your Faith, and Don't give up, look where you don't expect your babies to be they could be in another State or someone could have them, and much more.
I will continue to help others in their Quest, and God Bless all.
What a great story. When I talked to April, she REALLY wanted to get the message across to people Not to give up!
Going from Michigan to Las Vegas by herself is a very long way to go. April figures that someone found Daisy, and brought hert to Las Vegas where she got loose again. Perhaps someone in the Miltary, as there are bases near her, and Daisy was found on a miltary base. April said she came close to giving up several times, but didn't! And now they are reunited!!! -Jim from ParrotsNow
