when a person finds a bird that they say if there is an ID number on the
leg band because breeders are registered by the numbers and such on leg
bands and maybe we can at least find where the animal was born so we can
deturmine if the bird has been taken to another state or what ever. Do
not post the numbers use them as ID but please have someone contacting
breeder registration facilities to try to conect these animals with their
owners. Any info about these lost or found parrots, Contact ParrotsNow and we will contact the person immediately. Lost/Stolen African Grey - Sarasota, Florida - May 22, 2006 Jen sent this... I am one LUCKY bird owner! ET was found 14 days after he flew away. I put huge poster size lost birds EVERYWHERE!!! And it worked. A local school bus driver saw my signs, saw an African Grey in a small black cage on the front porch. When she asked the young girl (who she drops off) where did you get that bird? She told her that someone GAVE it to her Mom. The nice caring bus driver called me and gave me the address. I went to the door- and shortly after ET was home safetly. The Sunday he flew away, he landed on a four year old childs head, while he was playing in his backyard. ET now has his wings clipped.... DON'T GIVE UP! and be sure
to get the word out. Found African Grey - Boca Raton, Florida - May 2006 Sarita wrote...
